Thoughts
Nothing wrong with an actual sovereign nation with strong borders. Borders and border control try to ensure that those who seek to enter a nation are not a threat to the nation's citizens.
The new administration isn't demonstrating a disdain for our citizens rights. You can still go where you want inside or outside the country.....well.....North Korea isn't too keen on letting folks in and will kill those seeking to leave.
The enemy has clearly identified itself. Even London's mayor has said that if the United States doesn't freely take in Muslims (with the goal to change the U.S. from within), Islamists will step up attacks on the nation.
Supremacy of the military. Last I checked, the United States wasn't a military junta. The military currently is ranked number one in the world, however, it is slipping towards second place after China and there is nothing wrong with maintaining a nation with a first rate military.
Rampant sexism? Hmmm, I believe you are confusing the U.S. with the Islamic nations. They don't come any more sexist than Islam. In Islam, women are only valuable for procreation, otherwise considered worthless. Do your research.
If the media was indeed controlled, there would only be Fox News, however, MSNBC, CNN, et cetera are clearly mouthpieces for the far left. They all need to focus on what is happening to Europe since its mass immigration.
Obsession with National Security? Hmmm...9/11, Orlando, San Bernardino, Boston Marathon bombings. No national security equals no safety at all.
Religion and government entwined....not to the point with which Muslim nations have. Theirs aren't only intertwined, the Imams, Mullahs, Ayatollahs and Clerics rule those nations and once they have enough numbers here, the same would happen.
Corporate power protected.....agreed. Too much protection. In China, if companies cause the death of people, they execute the head of the company. I like that policy.
Labor suppressed: The labor here is protected far better than in many other nations and in fact labor in many nations is no better than "slave" labor working for pennies on the dollar.
Obsession with crime and punishment: Get robbed a few times and see how pro-crime you are. Evidently, base on that simple statement, you are for "not" punishing criminals and that's absurd.
Rampant cronyism and corruption. Please point to a nation that doesn't have cronyism and corruption to some degree.
Go live in Mexico or Russia, come back and compare. Those two nations thrive on those things.
Fraudulent elections: None here. Candidates for the House and Senate are elected by local popular vote. Per our founding Constitution, candidates for the presidency are and always have been, elected by the Electoral College, not the popular vote. Let's see now.....England, the lower house of Parliament is elected by the people. The upper Parliament is the House of Lords, chosen by the Queen from the upper crust of society.
China....The politburo tells the people who their candidates can be and the people get to pick from only those candidates. North Korea....The next-of-kin to the supreme leader gets selected by the supreme leader. The public doesn't have a say.
Iran....The Islamic supreme council (300 men) approve who may or may not run for office. The people only get to pick from the council's picks.
Russia....The people actually get to vote for the candidate of their choice for president. However, opponents have a tendency to turn up poisoned, imprisoned, or disappear. That has a tendency to limit the choices.
The EU: That has a rotating head of state, chosen by the prime ministers of the member nations. The people in each nation has no say (hence why England voted get out of the EU, as some other nations are now considering. Ultimately, the concept of a one-world government with no borders isn't going over too well with the peoples of nations being invaded by hordes of Islamists bent on destroying the nations cultures and heritages.
