Shouldn't "Chinatown" be a Racist Term?

PBS just did a story on how "Chinatowns" are suffering from the pandemic more so than . . . I guess they would say "Mexicotowns," or "Englandtowns," or "Africatowns." Only racists obsess this much about race.

At least they avoided calling anyone they interviewed "Chinaman," or "Mama-San."

PBS occasionally has some great programing. A vestige of the past, say pre 2012 (?). Like the BBC, all they do NOW is pander and genuflect to fleeting political bullshit.

You know that wouldn't refer to a Chinese person, right?
Right. I believe the "Flops san" or "Unkotare san" convention is Japanese. But racists often say that to any Asian woman.
