Should Israel become the 51st US state? The idea may sound crazy at first, but it might solve a lot of problems:
1. It would clarify Israel's influence on US politics;
2. The US would control Israel's foreign policy;
3. Any attack on Israel would be an attack on the US;
4. Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthi rebels could be wiped out; and
5. Iran would follow if it doesn't behave itself.

They would not be a state but a territory, they are not going to give up their history to join the USA, that is just silly

They still wouldn't do it after all they've been through and we would be hurting ourselves. The old "I will bless them that bless you and curse them that curse you" still holds . Not something I want to be on the wrong side of. Doesn't mean we have to blindly agree with them on every issue
