Thank you Z. I hunted for this video too when I posted the other one from a couple of days ago. At least one of our liberal friends won't watch it I guess unless we agree to read some liberal stuff first.
I wonder how many of us actually do read Salon, Huffington Post, and even check in at Daily Kos now and then? I know I do. And I bet a bunch of the rest of you on the right do as well. I even post from these sites now and then. But alas, it is too much to ask some of those on the left to see where the right is coming from. They're right. We're wrong, and that's that.
But those who still have two brain cells to rub together and who want the truth of this issue will watch the video. It is instructive.
I thought it was pretty cool that he patted himself on the back for "defending" her while he implied elsewhere that she was a marxist, a maoist and a racist.
Yeah, that Glenn Beck...what a tool.
First he didn't pat himself on the back. And elsewhere her remarks HAVE BEEN Marxist and racist. But Beck, Hannity, O'Reilly and Breitbart as a guest have bent over backwards to defend her intent in this speech as not being racist.
Why do you suppose the NAACP did not release the full tape of that speech until after Sherrod had been fired and it had been reported on Fox News?
Given their track record on all the racist issues that have come up over the years, why do you think the NAACP was so quick to support Sherrod's firing?
Is it possible that this was set up specifically to create a situation they thought they could 'get' Fox News on? But they screwed up their own timeline and got caught? Breitbart's part in it wasn't even to attack Sherrod--he didn't call for her firing or any other action but used her as an illustration of the double standard applied by the NAACP. He has stated since that he tried to get the whole tape and it was unavailable.
Is it possible for anybody on the Left to see or defend anybody on the right on this?
I'm still waiting for somebody on the left to have the integrity to do that.
