I'm now planning on performing the server move thursday night around 10pm central time. I'm expecting the site to be down until late morning on friday.

I don't see much lag moving around the forums, do you? However, we are moving to a more powerful server, so in theory if you are experiencing slow load times it should be faster browsing.

Actually I really don't have any issues, but some sites have different addedages of abilities but other than that this is good.

Strange, I tried accessing the site from work throughout the afternoon and couldn't. Yet I see from the timestamps on others' replies that the site was available. That's odd.

Anyway, the server upgrade has definitely improved performance. It's zippier...

must have been that Viagra patch that you applied!
