He's quite the amazing orator as well. Not only was he actually able to shut down the government just by reading a children's book about a weird food his father invented.

It's funny how when Obama and the Democrats refuse to compromise and the Republicans decide to finally show some spine and play hardball, it's all the Republicans' fault for a shutdown. You guys never admit that your side is the side that is usually unwilling to compromise and meet the other half way.

Relativism is the doctrine which holds that knowledge, truth, and morality exist only in relation to one's cultural, societal, historical and personal context, and, as such can never be the result of soundly reasoned absolutes.

It is through this perversion of reason, wherein relativism axiomatically rejects the objectivity that is essential to truth.



And with truth being essential to trust and, both of those being critical to the establishment of a soundly reasoned morality, and because a soundly reasoned morality is essential to Justice... it becomes clear to reasonable people, that Relativism can never serve justice.

Yet however 'smart' and 'educated,' Cruz is nonetheless comprehensively wrong on all the issues.

Cruz is wrong to seek to violate the privacy rights of women, the equal protection rights of gay Americans, and the due process rights of immigrants. He's wrong on taxes, deficit reduction, and foreign policy.

He was wrong to try to shutdown the government, wrong to try to 'get rid' of the ACA absent having a program to replace it with, and wrong in his desire to conjoin church and state in violation of the Framers' mandate that church and state remain separate.

Cruz represents all that is wrong with the TPM and extreme right – the aversion to facts and the truth, the blind adherence to failed conservative dogma, and the hyper-partisanism where what's best for the GOP is put before what's best for the country.

How positively informative is the above diatribe?

There is no potential for a RIGHT to privacy, where one's RIGHT is central to PUBLIC Policy...

There is no potential RIGHT to convey perverse reasoning, as such reasoning is injurious to everyone who uses it and everyone who is affected by it.

Those who enter the country illegally are NOT IMMIGRANTS, and as such are only due the processes relevant to the punishment relevant to their crime.

And so it goes down the diatribe... where the contributors own personal experiences determine that Cruz is wrong, and without regard to the objective truth, that Cruz is merely defending the elements of our culture which provide for our culture to remain VIABLE as a culture.

* He began formally studying economics when he joined the Free Market Education Foundation--at the age of 13.

* He earned a bachelor’s degree in public policy and graduated cum laude from Princeton University.

* While he was at Princeton, he won the top speaker award at the 1992 U.S. National Debating Championship and the 1992 North American Debating Championship. That same year, he was named U.S. National Speaker of the Year.

Cruz also has an impressive resume in terms of professional achievement and public service. Consider:

* From 2003 to 2008 he served as Solicitor General of Texas. As Solicitor General, Cruz argued before the Supreme Court nine times, winning five of his cases.

* Cruz has authored 70 United States Supreme Court briefs and presented 43 oral arguments, including, as mentioned, nine before the Supreme Court.

* It should be mentioned that Cruz's record of arguing before the Supreme Court nine times is more than any practicing lawyer in Texas and any current member of Congress.

* Cruz has been named by American Lawyer magazine as one of the 50 Best Litigators under 45 in America, as one of the 50 Most Influential Minority Lawyers in America by The National Law Journal as one of the 50 Most Influential Minority Lawyers in America, and as one of the 25 Greatest Texas Lawyers of the Past Quarter Century by Texas Lawyer.

Whether all this means that Cruz would be the best candidate to run against the Democratic nominee is another question.

Both sides like to portray the other as stupid, dumb, poorly informed, hollow, etc., and in some cases those labels are justified, but no rational person can believe such things about Cruz. Clearly, Cruz is very smart and very well educated.

And yet every time he opens his mouth in the Senate, a foot gets magically inserted.

Obama just a “social worker” who wants to put ISIS “on expanded Medicaid”

“I will renounce any Canadian citizenship”

“I expect them to start quartering soldiers in people’s homes soon”

Erm, read the bill of rights, Senator.

“Gay marriage” leads to Christianity becoming “hate speech”

Or this train wreck:

The Obama economy is a disaster, Obamacare is a train wreck, and the Obama-Clinton foreign policy of leading from behind — the whole world is on fire,” Cruz recently told a crowd in Barrington, New Hampshire.

“The world is on fire?” asked a 3-year-old girl in the audience

“The world is on fire. Yes! Your world is on fire,” Cruz responded. “But you know what? Your mommy’s here and everyone’s here to make sure the world you grow up in is better.”

When this man tries to gut NASA's budget, I think it will be clear to the American people what kind of man he really is. Oh wait, he is already trying to do that.

I never seem to tire of watching Relativists intentionally; which is to say deceitfully, strip the words of those they oppose of the context they were used in, so they can fraudulently advance those words as a means to mislead the ignorant.
