It is going to be a windfall enforcing these sanctions. It places the government there is a difficult spot since the alleged theft of a democratic election, it also places conflict between China and America in the region.

With Japan now electing a more China Hawk PM, let's hope peace through strength ensures that rogue nations don't operate in an obtuse manner.

A U.S. Coast Guard Maritime Special Reaction Team (MSRT) assisted by the U.S. Navy has seized a second oil tanker off the coast of Venezuela Saturday, a U.S. official confirms to Fox News.

The operation involved a U.S. Coast Guard Maritime Special Reaction Team assisted by the U.S. Navy, marking the latest enforcement action tied to President Donald Trump’s announced blockade of sanctioned oil tankers.

The seizure comes days after President Donald Trump announced a "total and complete blockade" of sanctioned oil tankers entering and leaving Venezuela on Tuesday.

The Pentagon referred Fox News Digital to the White House, who did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

You got that right. This is all about peace through strength. And you can be sure China is watching. China and Maduro are playing Checkers, but Trump is playing Chess.

Trump would be smart to make it known that he is holding these oil tankers for when a legitimate government takes over so that they can use the oil to rebuild.

And now a 3rd.

I wonder how long before China and Russia send heavily armed escorts for these tankers?

Then what will happen?

Tic Toc.

If the past is anything to go by not much.

In the past, China couldn't challenge the US. Now China could defeat the US.
I believe they will now send a destroyer escort and challenge the US. Not doing this will lose face. China has the worlds largest Navy now. They will most likely project that power now. Maybe position a carrier strike group in the area.
You must be assured Xi and the CCP is discussing it as you read this.

If the US attempts to stop a Chinese destroyer escorting a tanker bound for China then that might be the catalyst.
Cuban missile crisis but with an entirely different outcome.

Well i would like to see that but i will believe it when it happens, i read the tanker was Chinese, if that doesn't spark a response what will?

The only logical reason they would not respond is if they have greatly exaggerated their capabilities.
If they do not respond that will be telling the world they have been faking.
I don't believe the Chinese leadership could allow this type of embarrassment on the global stage.

If they do respond by sending forces to the area then we may all be in trouble.
We should know within the week.

Either way, I think this is a very dangerous situation.
