From a raise of an eyebrow to a tilt of the head, we use several micro-movements when we’re lying without even knowing it. Now, scientists have developed an artificial intelligence system that can detect these micro-expressions and detect if you’re lying – and it’s already ‘significantly better’ than humans. The researchers hope their system could soon be used in courtrooms to tell if people on the stand are telling the truth.

Anyone with a brain would think this is pure bs. First off Machines/Computers can be rigged to do whatever this fkd up court system wants it to do or say.
Anything can be hacked
I wouldn't trust this if it were the last pos thing left on earth.

Not to mention even a LIE DETECTOR is not admissible in court but puke dumbasses accept as the truth to this day even when it can not PROVE truth , it's admitted that it can't.

I think you mean that a lie detector is NOT admissible in court. Also, a lie detector is really more of a stress detector.

Based on quick reading about this system, I wouldn't want it to be admissible, either, or at least not without very extensive testing. Supposedly it looks for 5 facial expressions tied to lying. That both seems like a small sample size, and too prone to catch someone making those expressions when not lying.

However, the system may be more effective than lie detectors, which are far too inaccurate from my understanding.

Thanks you are right, I did mean to say " Isn't admissible" lol.

They might be more affective the problem is they will rig it to say what they want, not to mention computers will decide our fate not a human who has a different instinctive decision feeling than a non feeling fkd up un emotional robot.

They are going to sell this bs as 100% ACCURATE it will anything but that. Just like DNA is not 100% etc.

It would be fine as evidence just not proof.

Who will litigate the cases if most lawyers are held in contempt of court?

Shit...the machine would explode from the slimy deceptive lawyers before they would even have a chance to question a witness.
I would not trust it due to the fact it was programmed by humans susceptible to negative influence and by programming errors.

You mean someone tells the truth in a court room?
