A group of scientists trapped in a tiny base in Antarctica have sent an email pleading to be rescued after they say a member of their team threatened to kill another colleague.

A South African research group dispatched to Sanae IV base, a research station in Antarctica, are isolated on their mission for at least 10 more months.

Extreme weather makes leaving and entering nearly impossible and there are thousands of miles between the team and their home continent.

So, someone is acting weird and pissed off....I've seen this movie.....It does not end well.

Send in the Norwegians.....Try not to shoot them.

That can't be.

Looking at that photo, it appears to be a very diverse group, and as well all know, diversity is our strength.

This is just my opinion

But having seen the original “Thing” movie from the 1950’s later remakes do not compare favorably

They are cheap imitations

If you havent watched "The Head" on HBO you are missing out:

Artic base goes dark and when rescuers show up they are treated to a crime scene and a few survivors trying to piece it all together.

Wait...let me guess: The person threatening to kill everyone is the blonde girl on the lower left. :laughing0301:

It was OK for it's time but 1982's The Thing is what modern horror Syfy is judged by. Well, that and Alien.
