Fascinating story. Young girl being sold into a marriage with a man she hates, runs off from her home. Fearing capture by her parents and fiance, she enlists in the military. Because of her intelligence and quick wit she is brought into G-2, where she makes several crossings of military lines, and brings back valuable intelligence.

Wounded, rather than face examination in a military hospital, she flees to a civilan hospital instead.
