I'm no fan of obamacare, but Waxman represented a liberal view of healthcare, so she seems to have as much qualifications for that as .... Herman Cain or Ted Yost down Fla way.

I don't totally agree with her politics, but she seems a decent human being.

Someone who thinks the government should dictate what benefits an employer should be forced to provide to their employees, other than cash for services rendered, is not a decent human being. They are a totalitarian.

Employment should be a simple proposition. You get paid cash for work, then you can spend it on booze or birth control pills or food or whatever the hell YOU think is best for you. You shouldn't even be getting employer-sponsored insurance. It is one of the leading causes of the cost curve bending up and the biggest individual tax expenditure boondoggle out there.
