Sanctuary City Officials Must Go To Jail

Up to now sanctuary city/state officials are on easy street. Even though Illinois & Chicago have been sued by the Bondi DOJ, all this does is impose fines which will be paid by the taxpayers, not the sanctuary city & state officials themselves.

This will reduce the treasuries of these government entities, and may even result in defunding of police, something these leftwing loons look favorably upon.

If US govt action goes no further than this minimal slap on the wrist, the sanctuary officials will see the Trump/Bondi actions as nothing but grandstanding,, and will have no fear of it. Nothing much will be accomplished.

• US Code 18, Section 1371,
• US Code 18, Section 1510,
• US Code 18, Section 2384
• A thorough examination of applicable federal law, would reveal even more relevant statutes.

Th DOJ and Pam Bondi have plenty of weapons to utilize to hold sanctuary city officials accountable. They must do that, or the deaths of Laken Riley et al will go unattended, as will all the other injustices to American citizens.
