Had lunch with two adjunct professors at a nearby community college.

They agreed that the vast majority of their students, mostly freshpersons and sophmorons, firmly believe that a "Quid Pro Quo" is something precious like a big diamond.

It's not quite as bad for "Latin" (QPQ is a Latin phrase). Only half the "students" believe that "Latin" is a country in central America.

Weep for our country.
 
I used to watch Watters World when he would interview people on politics. It is amazing that people past the 6th grade could not answer the questions. And then they sign the form for them to show the world exactly how stupid they are!

Please don't be that bad, not everybody have had the opportunity of learning French...
 
If "we" were sane, we would pre-qualify voters. Nothing extreme, just four or five short elementary questions to see if "anyone's home."
