Notice only one escalator had its power cut. Notice it happened just as Trump stepped onto it. Notice people could have been hurt by the sudden stop. Notice Trump did not change to the working escalator, and instead walked up the stairs.

Teleprompter did not malfunction for anyone other than Trump.

The main UN audio feed to TV news channels switched over to a foreign language translation towards the end of his speech, obscuring some of his words.
