The Roma have spiritually and culturally more in common with Jews and Zoroastrians than with Hindus. In India there are also mixed forms with monotheism such as Sikhs, which many overlook, even Roma themselves who convert to Hinduism or Buddhism. In Hungary there is a Roma Buddhist high school. The Roma themselves as Indians are certainly different from the ordinary Hindus, just as there are many minorities in India.
