Why do that? Nobody outside of the USA gives a damn about American NFL football. It costs the home team a game in their crib and hurts their fans, and for what? I think the league is pissing on the domestic fans with no appreciable gain for the league. I am just about ready to tell them to go eff themselves.

Actually, Goodell wants to eventually increase the overseas game to 16, with every team playing overseas at least once. Does anyone know what the cost is to the league? The teams that lose a home game are losing revenue, I'm pretty sure of that. Plus the home team fans are losing a game in their own stadium. Does the league compensate them for that?

With a 17-game schedule each Conference takes turns getting 9 home games every other year. So, all teams in the conference with 9 games get a game overseas most likely.
