I brought my advanced class to the library to start a research paper today. The librarian gave her usual excellent presentation about library resources. I was a little afraid that the kids would be overwhelmed by the experience so early in the year, but after a bit they started to get the hang of it. Some of my more reticent students even started getting enthusiastic about it. Not a bad day.
