The fact that California ever had a Republican governor is irrelevant. The voters in CA are 25% Republican and the state government is 25% Republican, neither of these give them control. If you live in a red state that is so bad, why don't you move your racist butt to California and enjoy what you, in your ignorance, think is a blue paradise? Also, just so you know, I am not a Republican and have never voted a straight ticket in my life. There are many decent Democrats out there, but mostly more conservative and in red sates.

You and me have had this debate many times. Let us not forget the myth that the Democratic Party is somehow the party of the people. They have lots and lots and lots of money. All you have to do is go down the list of Democratic senators, Democratic house members, Democratic members as part of the executive.
