Back in the spring and summer, Republican governors in one state after another cut off unemployment benefits in an attempt to force people—who were supposedly sitting home, being lazy—back into the labor market. Now? Some of those same Republican governors are offering unemployment benefits to people who quit their jobs rather than get a COVID-19 vaccination.

The Democratic challengers in all of those states should record the increase in unemployment claims, and send them to every news outlet on the planet

Trying to explain to you the ethical distinction between supporting and enabling people not wanting to work because they can collect more in government handouts than they can earn working; and people unjustifiably fired from their jobs for refusing to take part in dangerous and illegal forced medical experimentation; would surely fall under the cliché about trying to teach a pig to sing.

You didn't read your own link....you are a tard of the first order....

If you quit your job then any UE you get is extra.
They are quitting under the threat of being fired. Our Army post lost 3 EMTs due to the US government mandate. My daughter has an EMT position and being trained as an instructor because so many quit due the COVID mandate. As soon as it is posted, she will apply for the Army position as she knows the Fire Chief.

That all depends on the state and changes made to the rules. If you under the threat of being fired for not getting the COVID vaccine, the rules may be changed to allow you to receive benefits.

Yes, I get that. It is the whole point of the thread....and as the OP states it highlights the double standards of those states.

No one should be forced to take a medication for a job--especially a vaccine that 1) isn't really vaccine 2) not fully tested 3) shown to kill and 4) has a FDA seeking 55 years to hide all the data.
