Most of the corruption issues that the US government has are a direct result of centralization of authority. While there are a few Constitutionally delineated duties of the federal government, anything beyond that should be handled by either the states or by the private sector IMHO.

Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) joined Fox News to discuss the increasingly disturbing revelations coming out about the Deep State attacks against President Trump that have been underway from the time he announced his candidacy in 2015.

Barack Obama, James Comey, James Clapper, John Brennan, and every major mainstream media outlet lied for years to the American public by claiming “Russia hacked the election” to get President Trump elected in 2016. Further, their alleged source, Crowdstrike, NEVER had Evidence that the DNC was hacked or that Russia was involved.
They all knew this was a lie.
On Thursday, FBI Director Kash Patel called out the crooked Clinton campaign after the declassified Durham annex revealed Hillary personally approved the Trump-Russia hoax and said there is more to come.

I often mention the 'Human Condition'(human nature), in my posts. It's obvious to all but the most depraved among the narcissists that there are some serious glitches within our human nature. As much as I hate to admit it what we are witnessing @ current regarding the 'deep state" is tragically the best 'secular' humanity can do. U/me & many other USMB members see the deep state for what it is, but the vast bulk of humanity see the deep state as their answer to a power & control(god complex) revolution for the sake of revolution(insanity) eternity.

I can feel both your anxiety & concerns(can't blame U 1 bit!) due to the ever escalating global events unfolding around our globe.

If you commit a crime and try to cover it up (which they are doing to this very day) then the Statute extends to all of that time.

If the crime/conspiracy is continuing (it is), it extends to all that time.

You could be right. I'm not an attorney so depend on others for legal analysis. And there seems to be a wide difference of opinion on whether the deep state operatives can still be charged.

I think what the FBI does or is supposed to do is important and can serve a good purposes. But it should NEVER be sacrosanct and untouchable in transparency. It should always be accountable to Congress, the President, and therefore the American people. To think the President is not allowed to know what it is doing or to 'interfere' with it in any way makes it an untouchable police organization, a rogue oligarchy without rules, restraints, controls. And when it becomes partisan political it is dangerous.

If President Trump, Pam Bondi, Kash Patel, Dan Bongino are able to reform the organization and restore its integrity I am all for that.

If the FBI cannot be reformed, if it remains deep state, then yes it should be totally disbanded and we start over.

Unfortunately, the power that is given to the heads of the agencies, whether it's the DoJ, FBI, CIA, ODNI becomes to great and they believe they're above the law.
People like Holder, Comey, Brennan, Wray, Clapper, McCabe, HRC et al., should never have been allowed to be placed in their positions.
Their oaths of Office lasted just minutes after they were spoken if that long. It appears each of them had ulterior motives or ideologies that interfered with their positions.
The damage they've done by these individuals as a group to American 'Democracy' and National Security is devastating.

That's what Democrats do. Republicans/Patriots/MAGAs try to do things according to the letter and intent of the law, not what they want the law to be in any given case.

The DOJ/FBI should NOT have a monopoly over all federal, criminal, matters. If it were up to me their authority would be scaled back dramatically. The states should have the authority to investigate and prosecute criminal activity and trials should be held in the states, not the D.C. cesspool.
