I'm fairly sure I wasn't alive when either of those pictures were taken. But there they would be on television with mom and day and the kids sitting around the television, laughing and laughing.

Now things have changed and they don't need to pretend.
One of the last pretending opportunities was Mrs. Doubtfire. That male actor was completely accepted by American men!
