Laquan McDonald was a 17 year old boy shot by a CPD officer 16 times. The City of Chicago tried to hush the whole incident up by hiding the video, paying off the family, and covering for the officer involved.

This is why he didn't run for a third term in Chicago, and why his political career is pretty much over.

Here's the thing. My brother is good friends with the officer who shot McDonald. We haven't been on speaking terms for eight years over the issue because I have some crazy idea that the police shouldn't shoot children in the back. So, yeah, if I am going to turn on family over this incident, I certainly didn't need anyone to tell me Rahm was a complete piece of shit for trying to cover the incident up.
