My how quickly the bloom fades from the rose. Just two months ago our nation's first convicted felon, twice impeached, only questionably and barely elected twice new President of The United States refused to put his hand on the Bible and swore an oath to the United States Constitution that meant nothing to him and that he had absolutely no intention of honoring.
But that didn't matter.
His ever faithful cult went wild with self-righteous jubilation......at last feeling that sweet, sweet vindication they had longed for for four long years. Suddenly for them all was right with the world.
A new day had dawned. Everything was suddenly coming up roses.
They were all skating away together hand in hand on the thin ice of a brand new day.
Or so they thought.
But now, just a mere two months later, a crack is appearing under foot.
No surprise; it is very thin ice after all.
The very poll that just last month the likes of Sean Hannity, Dan Bongino, Charlie Kirk, Brian Kilmeade AND the Fox News talking bimbos were citing ENDLESSLY as "proof" that American voters had made the proper choice last November, is now showing that a majority of voters already regret that choice.
And the buyers remorse is just beginning. It's only been two months. By this time next year, at this rate this twisted regime may be history.
This chaos is not sustainable.
But what did anybody expect? This man didn't really have any plan for governing. His plan was just to get elected in order to keep himself out of prison. After that he imagined he could just wing it somehow by playing Celebrity Apprentice with The U.S. Government in between golf trips.
Everything would be fine as long as he was able to use the government that he had just inherited to make good on his debts to the corporate donors, billionaire oligarchs, and hostile foreign actors that had bought and paid for his candidacy.
As it turns out, life in the big-time just doesn't work like a third rate reality TV show.
You can't just make it work by acting poorly.
You have to actually know what you are doing. You have to GOVERN. Winning the election was the easy part.
All he has done in the past two months is demonstrate time and time again that he's not up for the job, and even the people who voted for him all across the country are beginning to take notice.
Fox News host Jessica Tarlov gave an overview of the poll's results, telling viewers (video below), "So basically, he is underwater on everything."
On one of the most strongly-negative questions, 60% of voters oppose President Trump's plan to dismantle the U.S. Department of Education. Just one in three support it. Another major negative is Trump's position on trade with Canada: 58 percent of voters disapprove of his handling of that issue, just 36 percent approve. That is closely followed by trade with Mexico (56% disapprove).
Historically, the economy has been one of Trump's strongest approval areas. That is no longer the case.
A majority of voters, 54%, disapprove of Trump's handling of the economy — just 41% approve.
"In the Quinnipiac poll released today, 1 percent of voters describe the state of the America’s economy as excellent. That’s not a typo," observed Democratic strategist Matt McDermott.
On that topic, Quinnipiac reported, a whopping "76 percent describe it as either not so good (45 percent) or poor (31 percent)."
According to Quinnipiac's numbers, voters thought President Joe Biden's economy was better in his last full month (December) than they think President Trump's is now.

'Discontent': Trump in big trouble with majority of voters — here's why
Barely more than 50 days into his second term, President Donald Trump appears to be failing in the eyes of a majority of American voters on nearly every major issue — from the economy to immigration to the war in Ukraine to trade to his handling of the federal workforce and more —according to a...
