Will bringing high paying manufacturing jobs back to the USA - ultimately lower prices for customers??

USA pays so much due to huge benefits to employees that I am not sure

Thx

Keep in mind that manufacturing these days is largely automated. The people who work there are well compensated but few of them are actually building anything. They are operating and maintaining the equipment that does the work.

While some manufacturing jobs may come back, the more important issue is our ability to mobilize for a conventional war as we did in 1941 and '42. We could not do that now but we need to start the process of rebuilding so that we could.

Prices? Inflation is a fact of life. The only question is how much.

Yes, as it will be done to scale with plenty of A.I, immediate local market access and major decreases in transportation costs.

There may be slight increases in particular markets or product sets but I think the that the advanced automation, absence of tariffs, far less transportation costs and immediate distribution/speed to market will keep prices down.

If you want inflation to be suppressed the government must decrease spending

Quick answer: NO

I read before half the price of a new car goes to the Auto Union workers. (don't know if it is true)

Quick economic question???

When Acme hits $15.00, sell.

Will bringing high paying manufacturing jobs back to the USA - ultimately lower prices for customers??
Well, that is really not the question you want to ask. What bringing manufacturing jobs back to the USA will likely do is this:
  1. It will strengthen the economy by creating more jobs, raising wages, and creating more tax revenue flow for the government.
  2. It will help make us freer from the whims of other governments where they begin to use their relationship to leverage against us to our detriment.
  3. Making stuff here at home by other fellow Americans will tend to see quality rise with more pride in how things are done.
  4. But will it ultimately lower prices too? That is an awful lot to ask to get a better product and at a better price too. More realistically, prices will go up a bit, but then, remember, we have 37 trillion in debt to pay off. If that is ever done, who can say?

How come inflation has been constant ever since the corpies took away benefits here and deported our jobs to Third World sweatshops?
