These questions are for the board members who support 'stronger' gun control laws in their state and/or the US:

What gun control laws do you oppose?
What gun control laws are too restrictive?
What gun control laws do you consider unnecessary and / or ineffective?
What gun control laws do you believe violate the Constitution?

Please include a line or two of explanation.

Thanks in advance

Where does the second mention due process?

It doesn't. The rest of the Constitution does or we couldn't put people in prison.

The Constitution lays out the steps to remove a persons rights through due process.

Prisoners should be allowed to own guns?

The problem with the left is they want all the criminals to run around loose and then use gun control legislation to keep guns out of the hands of those they let run around loose.

Im referring specifically to regulating the second amendment.
There is no room for regulation. It explicitly says that.
It says the right shall not be infringed.
While the huge majority are, not every regulation is an infringement - laws against randomly shooting up into the air inside city limits, for example.

I think we will find few among those who seek stronger gun control laws believe those laws can go too far, are unnecessary, violate the constitution, etc.

They definitely need to institute a blood test before buying a firearm. That way we don’t have drug users lying on their application about their habits.

It says the rights of the PEOPLE to own guns shall not be infringed. The government enacting some basic safety measures that individuals need to follow isn’t infringement of gun ownership rights. Some people shouldn’t own guns. The 2nd Amendment isn’t a suicide pact.

And the Constitution lays out the means to remove that right. Due process.

That’s what the gun laws are ‘due process’. Since we’re worried about applicants lying about drug use, what do you say to blood tests before any firearms purchase?

No. Not even workable. I don't own a gun but if I did, I'm not going to require the guy knocking on my door to buy it go take a drug test.

It's all about dominos. You pass "sensible" gun control legislation and then when that doesn't work you go to the next domino and so on and so on. Never occurs to them to keep criminals locked up.

Sure it is. Gun control laws are passed with the full knowledge they will fail meet, their intended goals.
