Too bad Biden didn't appoint someone to address those root causes that motivate people to come to the United states. Such a senior WH official could have worked to help those countries improve, while at the same time reducing the incentives that the U.S. provides for both legal and illegal immigration.

I predict that if immigrants are removed from the US labor force this country will die.

I doubt that the country would "die." The economy would be harmed in the completely imaginary and impossible scenario in which every single immigrant, legal or not, long term or just arrived, were instantly removed from the country by whatever magic you are envisioning.

However, an orderly deportation of those who are both illegal and taking advantage of our social safety net, and/or caught committing a crime would be a good start in clearing up this mess that Harris created by not dealing with the root causes.

Then if illegals who are "law abiding" other than the initial crime of breaking into the United States, and who are not on the dole, were sent home in a gradual process, employers would adjust by paying wages that will attract citizens and legal immigrants.

I won't predict what would happen if legal immigrants were suddenly deported, since no one I know of is recommending that.

A great start: stop encouraging them just like the Biden / Harris did during their 2020 campaign. He literally welcomed them into the United States, assigned Harris as the border czar who did nothing, allowed record millions into the U.S. and then attempted to put a band-aid on it a few months before the election.

I'd also force them to assimilate in the United States instead of forcing Americans to have to learn Spanish (Press 1 for English, 2 for Spanish-type bullshit)

Don't provide birthright citizenship for every illegal that poops out a child in the United States .. get rid of DACA.

Guard and secure the border .. aggressively.

There are many ways to discourage illegals from coming over, and the technology is there to help.
