I found out about this due to my former use of mats on construction jobs and am reading Marjory Taylors Book called MGT. The owner of Quality Construction mats is discussing with her how he started his quality construction mats and how he suffered and now is rich.

When I used them, it was while working for Raymond International a then long term pile driving firm that after the Vietnam War went out of business. Raymond started in the 1800s.

He started out with him and 1 worker. A partner. They split up and went separate ways. He talked to MTG about hard times under Nixon and later presidents.
Mats are used globally. Raymond made our own when I worked for them. They are heavy duty. Around 14 inches per timber, which are bolted together to around 8 timbers wide I believe. They hold up very heavy cranes and other heavy things for the oil industry. See his link to learn more.

This is the point he made to Marjorie Green.

Today from a total of 4500 firms under Trump, today they have only 700 companies now using them. A over 6 times dangerous plummet from what it was under Trump.

When the industries using Mats dies down from 4500 just at his company, to 700 today, you know the oil industry is in serious trouble.

They don't last. End of story.

Correct. But his orders fell from 4500 to 700. As you correctly say, they don't last.

True since I used many of them. But they last a very long time due to them being very heavy timbers.

I wouldn't worry too much about Quality. They still ship all around the world. Is Jake still there or is he dead by now?
