Put Purchases and Put Premiums Going up

The Put/Call ratio is reflecting three steps and a stumble thinking to the extent that they are discounting a 30-50% market drop. I say this because yields are 50% or higher in my watch list. the put/call ratio is not yet in double digits but they are moving in that direction. the expected rate hike in March should do that for me.
