The point is this:
No one demanded that everyone must place Kirk pronouns in their e-mails to affirm Kirk's existence - or be harassed
No one demanded people put a black square or rainbow flag in their online bio-to honor Kirk - or be harassed
No one demanded people must take a knee at the start of every NFL game to pay respect to the fallen Kirk - or be harassed
No one demanded people must say the words "Charlie's Life matters," or he harassed, and then attack them for saying all lives matter.
No one demanded that sporting events must start by playing the Charlie Kirk anthem - or be harassed
No one demanded anything of anyone. People were never required to mourn Charlie Kirk's assassination.
But the hateful people went out of their way to say mean and disgusting things, on their own initiative, because they wanted to twist the metaphorical knife, kick people when they are down, or infuriate the people who were mourning his murder.
Hateful people acted hatefully with their public comments, then cried about the consequences.
