Who protests on behalf of the victims of violent protests? Is it that they don't matter?
Ever since the President was elected, we have watched protest after protest. One aspect we haven't witnessed is arrest after arrest at the protests.
Protests are fine and should be permitted in a free society such as ours. But a line has to be drawn when it interferes with the rights of others, those who do not partake in the protests.
Where are the police or some other authority to take out or arrest those who are setting fires, vandalizing beating up another person perceived to be of the opposing dialogue?
Who's working on behalf of the small business owner who has their businesses burned? Who is looking out for the serious students who wanted to go to class the next day when their campus and buildings were set afire?
Those responsible have to be arrested, expelled, expected to be responsible for restitution and begin a criminal record, never to be expunged.
The longer we allow this to go on, the worse it will get. Set rules for protests and arrest those who do not abide by those rules!!!! Consequences are the only acts that will show we are a nation of laws again!
Anyone who funds riots should be charged with sedition, just as Representative Val Deminf=gs of Florida, announcing the riots in Berkley were a "beautiful thing!" She won;t be around long. The next Congressional elections should take care of her.
