The problem is the black community doesn't see their problem and won't vote for anyone that will point it out to them. Democrats need this community to win elections and so sadly side with them. Baltimore proved without a doubt that the black community has a violence and murder problem that they must fix.

KG answered her own question in the OP. Media is ignoring it because the usual outcry for gun bans would result in someone mentioning how strict Baltimor'e existing gun laws already are. To which the next logical question becomes, "then why do people claim gun control results in gun safety?"

Reminds me of one of Bill Maher's stand up specials where he mentions a lady friend he tells about conflict diamonds and how the warlords or whoever will cut off the arms of children or whatever and her friend innocently asks, "both arms?"
