AstraZeneca strikes again. It's quite sad. I prefer to rely on U.S vaccinations rather than the British/Indian vaccine. Canada learned that the hard way, we now have suspended use of this vaccine for some time. Other countries are not recognizing the vaccine as well for International travellers.

Here is the problem and why we have some who are leery of the vaccines today. There were a couple of cases of blood clots and state run CBC news brought on professionals and others to tell Canadians, "don't worry, it's very rare, it's safe, go out and get it". Then not long after Canada paused it's use, concerned with the deaths due to blood clots.

See the problem? We also had experts tell Canadians it's "ok to mix and match vaccines, get the first one available" and now many countries will NOT allow them in as they did so.

It's been a series of jokes in Canada and elsewhere. It's been FAR too political and to this very day science has consistently taken a back seat.

Yeah um.....I am not convinced of that at all. First of all you have no way of knowing what would have happened to any of those people in an alternate reality. Secondly the CDC has already shown that they are pretty much full of shit with their statistics. I believe that there are plenty of people dying the same way they always did....and I also believe that it's more of a categorical assignment than it is a reality. I don't say that COVID is not dangerous sure it is....but so has the flu been dangerous for the past three centuries.

FEW become seriously ill, few need hospitalization and fewer than that actually succumb. Adding the jab into the mix and saying aunt Gertrude not only survived but wasn't badly ill BECAUSE she took the jab is BS. Maybe it's true, maybe not. NOTHING like that has been definitively proven with data. This virus is still killing fewer than 2 in 100 who contract it and nearly all of them are elderly, infirm, or obese, or some combination thereof.

And maybe people should look into those rare single cases and see if those people had a commonality. There may be a sub group or groups of people who are at a higher risk to vaccine reactions than the average. If you fall into that group then you may want to consider which vaccine you decide to get with more scrutiny, or watch closer for symptoms. Some people died because they completely trusted the vaccine and were caught off guard. reacting too late to symptoms.
In other words, it's simply wrong to demand everyone go get it, without consulting with their doctor first and being aware of risk factors.

So that gives you one death in Great Britain, out of the hundreds of millions of doses given. If anything, this death confirms the safety of the vaccines.

We had one death in Canada too. A woman in Quebec - out of the 30 million doses in Canada.

This is the safest vaccine I've seen in my lifetime.
