🌈 Pride Month 2025 – Less Visible Than Last Year?

Hi everyone,
I wanted to share some of my thoughts and impressions about this year’s Pride Month (June 2025) — maybe some of you experienced the same, or noticed something different?

Personally, I felt that Pride was much less visible this year compared to 2024. In shopping malls, public squares, or even outside public buildings, I saw fewer rainbow flags, decorations, or events. Last year there were colorful installations, posters, Pride stands — this time it was noticeably quieter. And honestly, I don’t know why.

---

🏳️‍🌈 A few thoughts:

Economic restraint?
Maybe many companies or organizers are currently cutting back on marketing or public displays. Pride had become a big part of seasonal branding in recent years — maybe there's now a shift away from that, or even a sense of “Pride fatigue.”

Political climate?
In some countries or cities, we’re seeing more pushback or tension around LGBTQ+ topics. It’s possible that some malls or municipalities were more cautious this year to avoid controversy — which is unfortunate.

Less symbolism, more substance?
Maybe the focus is shifting from flags and colors to more meaningful projects — talks, education, online campaigns — which may be less visible, but just as important.

---

💬 My personal take:

I think it’s a bit sad if visibility decreases, because Pride isn’t just about parties or rainbows — it’s a statement of freedom, dignity, and diversity. Especially in times when anti-queer sentiment is rising again in some places, public presence matters.

I still tried to celebrate the spirit of Pride — including a fun little Pride-themed artwork of myself (see below 😉). Even if the rainbows were fewer, the heart of Pride still shines.

---

What about you? Did you notice the same where you live? Were there events, parades, exhibitions — or was it quieter this year?

The Pride thing was always intended as divisive as is everything the left sponsors. It is not a celebration of anything. Trump has seen through that and stopped the destructive DEI nonsense in all governmental entities, reflecting the will of the people. Corporations are following suit. And the money has dried up. This has NEVER been a grass-roots movement. It was started and promoted by the Marxist left leadership, and it's designed to rip conservatives. Don't believe me? Go to any "pride" rally. Speaker after speaker calls Trump and conservatives homophobic bastards the whole time. There is nothing related to love in these rallies. It's all hate.

Hope that helps.

Less visible here because the RWNJs have made bigotry fashionable.

But it's also used to cultivate a lifelong loyal voter base...and this is why it is waves like a carrot in front of children. They know children are curious and naive. Many children, seeing some people being praised and pay on the head for it will experiment with it, and a few will even go full tranny eventually. The DNC and all agencies it sponsors will then praise and support them for it, and voila....they have a voter for life. So with this huge pro-LGBTQ campaign, they have increased their voter base by quite a bit. HOWEVER....most people are NOT that way, and while most people are (or were!) not anti or particularly worried about gay and trans, the obvious political push is starting to bother that 80% more than the actual presence of gay and trans people. The DNC is turning it into a malignant thing which people, even their own voter base, is getting sick of. And that might partially explain why November 2024 turned out the way it did.
