Unfortunately, Biden can't fire DeJoy. Only the US Post Office Board Of Governors can.

the president does not pick the PMG....what outrageous restrictions were put on postal workers?....and mail boxes are removed all the time because of vandalism and little use....most PMG's last a few years then they quit anyway.....

Actually, downsizing the USPS is a necessary protocol. More competitors in parcel delivery, people receiving bills and paying them online, etc., just makes the service less important.
If you have a problem with Post Office delivery, there are indeed other options.
Efficiency is the necessary protocol. Not downsizing necessarily. The downsizing steps that DeJoy took were a nod to Trump and his Big Lie. Not making the PO more efficient.

If there is less call for your services, why shouldn't there be downsizing?
I know this will mean less dues money for the postal unions, but I don't see this as a consideration for public policy.

Yet he did shit-all to mitigate the impact.....Rural POs really took it on the chin......My PO lost all their contract carriers over it.
