Predict Nov 8th

you are not pro choice up until viability - which is what roe v wade has decided. a 50 yr old precedent. & it will be codified.
I am pro choice until viability. Which is 23 weeks. What are you talking about? 16 weeks would be a good compromise.

If people are actually stupid enough to vote for any democrat then the threat of democrat rule will never fade. If people are stupid enough to allow democrats to get away with stealing the 2020 potus election then democrats will continue to steal elections as necessary.

Correct but I do not want the two sides to keep fighting.

pesonal autonomy is worth fighting for.

I am not affected in any way if a kid dies in Chicago. Doesn’t mean I want it to happen. Your logic is fucked up.

nobody wants abortion to happen. my logic is perfectly normal for someone among millions that think no politician should decide the most important & personal decision one can make.

my bad - i misunderstood when you said 16 weeks.

16 weeks would be a good compromise.

there shouldn't be a compromise after 50 years of precedent. would you feel the same for say - the 15th amendment? the compromise is a literacy test, but not any other barrier to vote?

We have amendments cause we compromised. Women couldn’t vote at first for example. It’s OK to compromise. If we compromised more you and I would not be at each other’s throats all the time.

What are the dems waiting for?

Fewer house and senate seats?

back in the day when (R)s were REAL 'conservatives' ... they had no problems with abortion. everyone dropped the ball, making it a 'privacy' issue instead of an 'equal protection ' one.

here's a little factoid you may not know - it was a 7-2 decision with the 2 objections being (D) appointees.

The Role Of Conservative Judges In The Roe Versus Wade Decision

The Roe v. Wade decision was supported by five Republican-appointed Justices. The five justices worked hand in hand to make the landmark ruling, with Harry Blackmun, a former counsel to the Mayo Clinic, drafting it. After a series of argument, Lewis Powell’s element of the viability of the fetus was agreed, this would become the most notable characteristic of the decision. The Justices used the three-part test in the decision which stated that a fetus could not be recognized as a person until viability. It was on this foundation that the decision was made.
Was Roe Vs. Wade Decided By a Republican Court?

you think women have forgotten? when do women EVER forget? about anything?

We have amendments cause we compromised.

amendments aren't compromises because the constitution cannot be changed. an amendment is an addition to established 'rights' already authored by our founding fathers.

Women couldn’t vote at first for example. It’s OK to compromise.

see above. & when already established rights are 'compromised ' ... that only means that they are being stripped away.

If we compromised more you and I would not be at each other’s throats all the time.

i don't see it that way - not for a very long time. i'd say we've been compromising for a very long time. some things we agree on, most we don't - but civility seems to be the prevailing compromise & it works.

Name three things we agree on sans pie

Curious what everyone thinks on the following:
Here is what the money says right now...

House pick ups +/- red or blue.

Senate pickups +/- red or blue.

Key Senate house and governor race prediction like AZ, GA and PA.

And what would you consider a wave, a tsunami and a standard midterm result.

If this exists already, I couldn't find it, but feel free to move it or delete it.

I'm going with Republicans picking 46 seats in the House and having 54 seats in the Senate.

Don't really care about governor races outside my state. In that case I hope Tony the Tyrant Evers is tossed on his weaselly ass. That sick little puke just makes my skin crawl, sort like Fauci but creepier.
