3 quid a pint is still quite expensive. I find with these cities that if you move out of the tourust centre the cost drops a hell of a lot.
Good lick to Prague in keeping the brutish English youth out,
There was a big problem with Brit bingers and their stag parties a few years back. The drunken louts would go into respectable bars, raise hell and spill beers all over the place. It got to the point where many downtown bars had "No Stag Parties" signs at the front door. I stopped going downtown and started frequenting the much calmer Czech watering holes as my Czech got better as did many other expats.

Many of the chavs moved on as Prague got more expensive and started heading for Riga and other cheaper destinations. I was under the impression that the problem had been largely solved.

Turdy with another of his stupid stories from porn rag Guardian, subsidised by the rodent Bill Gates
Here he is being so stupid that it is best left for his clear immaturity to itself tell us all about himself -- as mean and vile a poster as you will, meet here .
Except for IQ 2.0 , obviously .

Brits spending their entire monthly welfare check in Prague in just one weekend?

What will libs think of next?

Ban beer and save the nation. This is nothing a good prohibition can't solve. I dares ya Prague. I double dares ya!

Cheskies brew a lot of beer . A LOT of beer!
Indeed. Someone has to drink it!
It's a funny thing. The Czech Republic is bordered with Germany - now they make some good beer! But Cheskie beer is considerd the best in the East. IN THE EAST. I've had a few bottles of their crap and I can tell you it tastes like chalk/yeast ..... just like all the beer brewed in the East. The only exception is Pirinsko from Bulgaria. Good stuff!

Riga used to be really cheap but prices are creeping up there. It was full of Finns when I was there. Beer is about half the price in the old town but get off the beaten tracck and they vurtually pay you to drink it.

Scotland brought in minimum alcohol pricing laws and you can only buy alcohol between the hours of 10am to 10pm. Alcoholism has increased.

Prague are just on course to lower tourism and thus income.

Utopian ideas.

How much does a 0.5 liter can of beer cost in average in Britain?

You can get 4 cans of stella for 5.50 but its 440ml not a pint. 440,; is the mst common measurement.
Most people jsst look out for whats on offer. Beer is the most heavily marketed product in the UK.
For the ;ast few weels Ive been drinking CruzCampo a upposedly spanish beer brewed in the UK. Its pretty good tho. 10 x 440ml for £10.

In a pub a pint can cost you 8 or 9 quid. I paid £15 for a pint and a glass of wine at a local wine bar a week or so back. I told the wife to sip it slowly.
