I'm sick and I want my mommy.

If my kid was crying like that, I'd go lock myself in the bathroom or something.

She's no longer here, but she didn't do stuff like locking herself in the bathroom. But, then, I never remember crying like that.

Every once in a while she got in the car and left for a day or half a day. And sometimes she had a 'migraine' headache for a couple of days and stayed in bed in the dark --we weren't allowed to disturb her. She never saw a doctor about those headaches, so I think they were an excuse to excuse her from being a mom for a couple of days.

It wasn't me that drove her to such actions, though. It was my dad and the other kids, of course.

It's just the image of that kid. It's been posted here lots of times, she doesn't even look sad, she looks like a little brat thus I'm just not that sympathetic to whatever her issue is.

Not there yet, but trying really hard. When it gets REALLY bad, I light up the stub I have been taking 2 puffs of, then snub out for the next "can't take it any more. Gotta have a puff". Doc said cold turkey is fine...but not so soon after the ER visit. If I need a puff..DO IT, he said.
So I have. About every 4 hours...2 puffs...stub out.....4 hours later...relight, 2 puffs, stub out. And eat lifesavers. And tootsie pops. And gum.
