Is it me or is there a rash of ad pop ups logging into USMB?

After spending hours and hours and $$$$ with techs trying to get rid of them, I was told it must be in the site's coding. Just an hour ago we concluded our phone call.

I PMd someone in high places here to ask if that could be true and the answer was "yes."

Me too. It's the holidays. Emails started flooding in too. And this week I googled a ski resort back home and now their ads are popping up on USMB. Also googled a movie I wanted to watch and ads popping up on USMB trying to sell it to me.

I never see ads or pop ups. I have Ad Blocker Plus and it works very well.

I don't see them for some reason. Thank heavens. I loathe them with a white hot heat. It USMB is ding that, for shame on them. It is a particularly loathsome form of advertising

I don't even see the yellow bar that holds the ads this site has unless I use a different browser than Firefox with NoScript, AdBlock Plus, and Ghostery.

I don't see pop ups, but I see banner ads that are obviously based on the text in the topic, sometimes with hilarious results.

I used the wrong term. They aren't pop ups. They are ads that are on the USMB site. I do have a pop up blocker.
