Nothing gets me boiling when I see, read and/or hear about any pets - dogs or cats or any pets - have to experience any cruelty of any kind.

The saddest part about this story was how loyal Leo still was to his owner and how sad he was that he couldn't be with him anymore. Poor little doggy. People like this make me sick! An animal isn't just something that you can throw away like they're nothing and what a sweetheart he was towards people after everything that he went through as well. That's exactly why DOG is GOD spelled backwards. More forgiving than I would have been too.

Story on the news of a couple shelters closing because they are overwhelmed by a-holes who during Covid bought puppies and now want to return them because they don't have the time.
Looking on Google this is a trend nationwide.

Pets are a major responsibility and commitment and I get so disgusted with people who treat animals as just a 'thing'.

I am always brokenhearted at this.

But, my guess is that Leo finds something better.
