Regardless of political belonging a lot of people (not the least me) tend to put down politicians. We make fun of their characters and say stuff like they are all a bunch of liars and would do anything to get a vote. They are generally held in a sort of contempt.
We also blame all sorts of things on politicians and say stuff like "that only politics". Like we have nothing to do with it.
Very impopular job that of a politician.
From now on I am goin to try to show them and their work more respect.
