I heard the voice of one of the civilian people, where the phony street checkpoint was being dismantled. He did not have a southern accent. I have no idea, what made the OP think Confederates were involved.

You guys talk about Pretti and his weapon. There are countless times where people minding their own business has had your insurrectionists in their faces in plenty of public spaces. Anyone carrying a weapon would be justified to shoot them in a normal setting. A person in that church where the insurrectionists showed up has every right to plug some of them.
