No Minneapolis police officers were injured in the event, and none had to shoot anyone so none will be facing criminal charges.

I'd say it was a successful day for the MPD, they even got the suspect into custody.

Simple. Do not go to Minnesota. Cops are afraid of the bad guy. You are required to run for it, if you can with somebody shooting at you, except inside your home. They don't even recognize the vast majority of weapons permits of other states. I wouldn't be caught dead in Minnesota.
