No one likes to get a ticket of be stopped, but it is what it is. The place to argue is in court, not in the middle of the street. The cop would probably have given her a warning until she turned into Beth Dutton. This is a state senator, and she really has some attitude, and obviously is good at muddying a simple issue. Always the victim, playing dumb and just accepting the answered she wants. She is probably so filled with self importance she won't realize the cop didn't book her, and thinks her street shit saved her, unless that other man tries to explain it to her. She was very lucky he showed up, but probably didn't learn anything, it just reinforced her cultural beliefs.

Blacks need to realize I get the same anxiety when I see those lights.

And I’ve not liked the cops attitude at times too.

That didn’t change my behavior. I stayed respectful.

I know my rights too. The right to remain silent and a lawyer.

Why are cops pulling people over on pretexual stops to start with?

If he didn't have enough to write her a ticket, he never should have pulled her over to start with.

You know how you deal with a bad cop? Complain after you are arrested. If they are a bad cop it won’t be their first complaint

But that's the problem, isn't it.

Jason van Dyke, the mutant who shot Laquan McDonald, had 20 complaints against him with the CPD. One of them involved twisting a man's arm so hard he dislocated his shoulder and the city had to pay out $375,000.

Timothy Loehmann, the mutant who shot Tamir Rice, had been fired from his previous job for having an emotional breakdown on a gun range, and his training officer noted he lacked the maturity to be a police officer.

Hope you survive long enough. Never file a complaint about a cop unless you are willing to move out of the area-THAT DAY-and never return.

That is illegal for a cop to do.

That never worked in my home area. If the cops went after you, the children went after their kids. If the cops got upset, the kids went ever harder.
