I know as I'm getting used to this skin already but I prefer darker. It's a bit too bright for me.

I have old eyes that are sensitive to the bright whites, really the bright any color so I added an extension to My chrome browser called "Dark Reader".
It will turn ANY website to a dark theme and save you from shedding tears.

It's part of your chrome browser, if you use it.
Go to your settings and into your extensions and search for "Dark Reader".

Well, the link I provided is to the Google extension page.I did and I couldn't find it.
And I feel uncomfortable clicking on it (no offense or anything) so I'll just have to get used to this new skin.

This platform's software does not have that option that I'm aware of. (Xenforo)
Considering the traffic volume and "add ons" the platform has going for it....they are doing extremely well with site management.
Where customized appearance can be another "add on" it's likely troublesome. (Guessing here) This is because of all the various types of devices and their specialty software using this platform. Tablets, cell phones, and desktops. Each tablet has its own browser and so do cell phones as well as desktops. Have to have instructions for each.
It's not impossible....just problematic with various updates. This site stays up consistently without down time....there's something to be said about that.
It's meant to eliminate waste and corruption.

Have you tried using the Dark version? Someone might've already mentioned that, but if you click on the moon icon, you'll see "System, Light and Dark" options.
I have it on Dark for now, but hopefully we'll have the option for the old skins soon, maybe they're still updating.
I currently don't have the moon icon. I'm on my smartphone right now.

Hmm... I would think it would be there somewhere, in a different place, but that's a question for el chorizo. I don't like using my phone for internet at all, but I'll look on my phone to see if I can find it.
