Some of the strangest talking points regarding the War on Iran is that it's good for America because it badly damages Chinese economy.

Trump is playing 6D chess while the rest of us mere mortals don't understand the larger consequences of damaging the economy of our third largest trading partner. Mexico is the largest due mostly to the drug trade.

China is our only supplier of many of the exotic rare earth elements that are responsible for much of our technology.

I'm at a loss

The more Trump associates Iran with China the better. Trumps supporters give him plenty of line because they have seen him act and stand his ground (within reason) on tariffs, illegals and China. Along with protecting homes from corporations, the $1000 new born funds.etc, he has been shown to not be an ideologue.

Associating Iran with China is an honest manner and not visiting China would be wise in my estimation. He realizes the war is not popular for a multitude of reasons, not least of which were his promisem to avoid them. A free and democratic Iran influenced by America instead of China and Russia would be a boon to humanity.

The benefit to America of the Iran war is bolstering the US dollar via world oil sales and also Iran not getting a nuke.

Of course I would rather the US manufacture and export goods.

The left does not want that and have prevented it. Now China does most of it.

A nuke in a back pack will not go off in an American city now. How is that a bad idea. When the war settles oil will drop to very low prices. Iran will lose control over the shipping. Thats not a bad idea either

Anything that removes an unpredictable, hostile regime in an area essential to world commerce is beneficial to the United States.

The question is always is the reward worth the risk.

We have dealt with a slow bleed in lives and treasure over almost 50 years now due to these assholes. Israel has suffered even more.
