Firstly I would tell folks to go ahead and look at the comment section of the video. They are overwhelmingly critical of Morgan and sympathetic to the YouTube vloggers. Just goes to show you that people are starting to wake up to grand standing “journalism”.

Piers also had a lady who is referred to as an Afghan expert…she was born in Afghanistan, but left the country when she was six months old. So at best she’s getting the information from her parents. Piers refers to her as being from Afghanistan but doesn’t bring up that she left the country when she was six months old.

Anyway I’m no fan of the Taliban. I’ve been very very critical of them on this message board. But this is yet again another unfortunate example of Piers becoming some sort of a grandstander. On his high horse….He has some interesting conversations, millions and millions of views but too often he makes a mistake of ruining the conversation by constantly interrupting people. It is an example of poor journalism. He kept on interrupting his guests. Again three YouTube bloggers who travel to places a lot of people wouldn’t go including North Korea and Syria.

A proper journalist would sit down as a gentleman and ask the vloggers questions calm cool, and collectively. Probably a lot to learn there. Sure criticize the Taliban but realize that these are not the first or last people to visit a controversial country. Hell Dan Abrams once interview interviewed Saddam Hussein in Iraq.

Condemn the Taliban all you want, it's not going to change anything.

When he chastised citizens who didn't take the vaccine during covid, he showed what kind of man he is. When a man is under pressure, when it's the easy path of least resistance and he takes the side of the powerful to silence others I lose respect for them plain and simple.

He apologizes a couple of years later when it is safe. Insulting really.

Let's be honest, he is basically a boot licker. He gets all riled up about the family squabbles within the monarchy as if it's any of his business.

It's just said how low the standards of "media personalities" has become.
