Problem with all this rubber - makes it near-impossible to do burn-outs.

Falken Azenis 615s on a friend's car, IIRC these are 275/35R-18. I also think he has JIC? Coilovers. car looks perfect, IMO; not too racey or ricey...not my fav. style rims - but they are lightweight and strong.

Clay doesn't like them 'cause he's a ricer. Lucky for you, it seems you're shaking the ricer disease.

This picture is excellent. Great composition. Slightly overexposed in the clouds? Either that, or you bumped the contrast up, which pushed the clouds over.

Either way, it's a GREAT photo.

If you have trouble doing burn-outs you just need to add mo' pow-ah.

I shot that at F8/ 1/40? or 1/20 IIRC. I saw very VERY little 'blinky warning' thru my Histogram. I bumped contrast by a few points, and dropped brightness by about the same. Also added <5 points of saturation, iirc.



if the flag pole wasn't growing out of the fender, and I didn't have to blur the wheels of the other car (seen below the body of the rx8), that shot could have been bettah, IMO.

I'm pretty picky and I didn't even notice the tires of the other car. The flagpole is so far to the front of the car as to not be any real distraction either. I'm betting that the contrast adjust is what 'posterized' the clouds. Perhaps a little masking of the clouds before the contrast/brightness adjustments was/is in order?

Every shot could be better. This one is pretty damn good.

I would have had a hard time taking that shot without a tripod.

I held the camera on the ground, tilted it up slightly and snapped. I took 3 or 4 at different settings...this was the best.
