Up until 2021 the Muscovite embassy in the Czech Republic had about 140 personnel, estimated 30-40% were spies. Then the investigation of an ammunition depot explosion in Vrbetice from 2014 concluded that year. The findings implicated GRU agents. The Czech government finally found its balls and expelled a number of Muscovite diplomats, eventually reducing the diplomatic staff to just 25. Muscovite espionage activity in the country has been significantly reduced since then.
