Pennsylvania recount update—Shapiro sides with GOP against faulty ballots

In a statement urging adherence to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court decision, Shapiro said: "The rule of law matters in Pennsylvania."

Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro has urged county election boards to respect a decision by the state Supreme Court preventing them from counting ballots that are either undated or incorrectly dated in the state's Senate race.

Speaking on Monday following the ruling, Shapiro said: "Any insinuation that our laws can be ignored or do not matter is irresponsible and does damage to faith in our electoral process. The rule of law matters in Pennsylvania."

Took him long enough to get on the right side of this obvious and blatant attempt to steal an election.

I guess someone finally told him not to act bat-shit crazy like Newsome if he wants a shot at 2028.

Shapiro is their future. Stealing a Senate seat won’t help down the road.

Me, I was just hoping he would not be picked because he is viable.

Then I heard that after the fact The Halfrican had called him and urged him not to take the VP slot if it was offered.....They want him "clean" for 2028.

Maybe I should have been more careful of what I wished for.
