The conviction of the Birmingham 6 was one of the low points of English corruption. You have likely seen Daniel Day Lewis in the film of the corrupt convictions of the Guilford 4.

This was just as bad. Nobody has been held responsible for the atrocity although I suspect the authorities know who did it. The victims families still wait for justice.

A corrupt govt and a orrrupt police force. No wonder the Irish want independence.
 
I remember that story, one of worst miscarriages of English Justice just to get conviction.
